Strange Lights
Mystify Inhabitants of Tiffin on Recent Morning
A Tiffin, O., despatch [sic], printed in several northern Ohio papers stated that on a recent morning early many residents of that city were awakened by strange lights. Four enormous balls illuminated the western sky for nearly two hours, making it as light as day.
One of the balls appeared to be larger than an ordinary house.
On the same morning several reputable citizens of Elyria who were awake and and saw strange lights in the west, but they thought they wwere [sic] caused by lightning. It is believed that the lights were caused by meteors or some other heavenly bodies.
