Sighting
On a clear night a "light exactly resembling the aurora borealis" appeared about 15 to 20 degrees above the horizon. Article states that the light "had not that moving, circulating and wavering appearance" [like an aurora] and also appeared "in the wrong quarter of the heavens." Also the light was pure white and not with bluish, red or varying glimmer.
