Collection of airship sightings in the last few days over cities in Illinois, Indiana and Iowa. In Moline, Illinois, an object "having a cigar-shaped body with broad wing-like attachments on each side" was seen.
Then in Waukegan, Illinois, a strange light was observed by several young persons.
In Burlington, Iowa, Engineer F. L. Bullard said he saw the airship moving along the same direction as his train, exceeding the train's 70 mph.
In Plymouth, Indiana, an airship was observed by two persons.
New Carlisle, Indiana, was the place of another observation, when at 8:30 PM, alleged 100 residents saw an airship moving rapidly 500 feet above the earth. Different lights were seen. The observation lasted for "at least" 10 minutes.
In Elkhart, Indiana, people saw at night the alleged airship passing over the city.
In Lagrange, Indiana, "great excitement was caused" by the appearance of the airship. It was even observed with a "powerful telescope" at Howe military academy in Lima, Indiana.
