Mysterious lights were seen over Piedmont, Oakland and Alameda. Alleged "thousands of people saw the light and many reputable citizens were ready to affirm that they had seen the mysterious air-ship."
Objects were observed grouping like "flocks of geese" and going up in all directions.
Explanation given that the lights may have been reflections of a searchlight coming from San Francisco.
