While driving from a country trip just before 1 a.m. in the morning, two witnesses observed a bright light similar to a star coming up above the horizon. It appeared "about the shape and size of an old field stump on fire and the light would flash out on each side occasionally and then go back."
It rose higher, "apparently at about the same rate as the other heavenly bodies."
Later it was observed by different other people. Source article is partly not readable.
