Thousands of people allegedly saw the airship "speeding through the heavens" in Worcester County, Massachusetts. Its "black shape plainly visible against the moonlight sky and with the searchlight throwing its rays first one way and then another." An airship was also seen in Connecticut "performing a number of evolutions". The airship was believed to be connected to Wallace E. Tillinghast.
