Seasontool & Seasons for Earl Weaver Baseball (EWB) 1.5

With this tool you can import and create season disks for EWB 1.5.

First off, this is an ugly, not very userfriendly tool, which runs in a dos window and has no mouse support. So be alarmed.
You need some very basic computer skills. These days you possibly need to run everything in DOSBOX.

The tool itself contains help screens. There is also a readme in the archive.

2023 update

Use dosbox! Adapt its CPU cycles to ~100k (CTRL + F12), your PC may need different value.
Tested my season tool with fresh download of historic player stats from lahman database via seanlahman.com
Go for "2003 Version 5.1 - comma-delimited version" which is the file I ised and still works. It allows you to import seasons from 1901 to 2003.

Download Season only or complete package to draft own players

Some Instructions:

Change default defensive player ratings (ARM, RANGE)

In case you don't like the default defensive ratings, you can go into the autorate/armbypos and autorate/rngbypos subfolders and manually change those ratings by changing the text files and do an export by running export.exe

Draft your own players

Run draft.exe and select all your players. Use 'h' to read the help text when you run Seasontool (draft.exe). Press 'r' regularly to check the roster and assign positions to each player. Follow instruction on help screen (press 'h') to finally export the season.
